Christy

Christy has worked in the charity and the not for profit sector for over 10 years. She joined Slade and Cooper in 2011 to continue to develop her expertise in the charity sector, after working for George House Trust, an HIV charity, and Tameside Citizens Advice Bureau. Christy is a member of the ACCA and CIOT, she also holds the ICAEW’s Diploma in Charity Accounting. Christy has a particular interest in charity tax and VAT.

Outside of work, Christy is a trustee of Skylight Circus Arts, a charity empowering individuals and communities through circus skills, and the RSPCA Manchester and Salford branch. This allows her to bring her own experiences of trusteeship and governance to her clients.

Christy loves cats, in her spare time she likes going to yoga and helps her partner with DIY projects around the house and classic Mini restoration.
